Integrated Design

CTM created an efficient and effective site design for this busy convenience store and gas bar in Kimberley, BC. Previously an independent store, we worked closely with FAS GAS (Parkland Industries) to renovate and regenerate the entire site. From removing and replacing site signage to acquiring and demolishing a neighbouring property, we were able to create a new convenience store and gas bar that both optimized space usage and met the municipality’s strict spill containment requirements.

Our design integrated FAS GAS’ corporate image requirements with the town’s historic architectural guidelines to create a customer friendly 2,100 sq.ft branded convenience store. The finished site incorporated architectural finishes such as river rock veneers, rough-sawn cedar details, and cedar shakes. We also coordinated all municipal and provincial approvals that involved working closely with the BC Ministry of Transportation.
