Integrated Design

CTM Design worked with an Ontario based architectural firm to successfully regenerate this large site into a fully integrated Husky Travel Centre. The first of its kind, it now serves as the standard for all future Travel Centres and incorporates dual-site circulation configurations for retail and commercial fuelling clients.

With parking for 20+ trailers and facilities such as showers, lockers, and laundry facilities, commercial-fuelling clients also have easy access to a 2,400 sq.ft. convenience store and 110-seat, 5,000 sq.ft. restaurant, as well as shared washroom facilities.

Located beside a creek, the site design met the strict environmental restrictions by including storm water retention and soil erosion control. Along with zoning changes, we coordinated all municipal and provincial approvals for the site.
